At 48, Alan Sidransky, owner of Focused Fitness NYC, had been a type 2 diabetic for nearly 20 years. After his father’s death and his mother's loss of a limb, both from type 2 diabetes, Alan’s doctor explained that he was likely heading in the same direction. Alan asked if this outcome could be reversed and the doctor's answer was "Yes," but only if he got off his butt and changed his sedentary lifestyle.


   


Not sure where to begin, Alan joined a gym and began a modest program of cardio-based exercise, supplemented with moderate resistance and weight lifting, which he learned has amazing effects on blood sugar by building muscle fiber and increasing glucose uptake and insulin sensitivity.

After a few weeks Alan began to feel better both physically and mentally. The simple act of doing something about his situation lifted his spirits, and after a few months he noticed a change not only in his body, but in his blood sugars, which were remarkably improved for the first time in nearly twenty years. 

What's more, when he went for his dreaded Cardiac Stress Test at age 50, the doctors were stunned by the results: despite two decades of type 2 diabetes, Alan had 100% blood vessel dilation, showing a measurable increase in his cardiac health.

Today, six years later, Alan Sidransky is 50 lbs lighter. His body fat percentage has dropped by half. He feels and looks better than he has in 20 years. He has learned the secret to overcoming the damaging physical changes type 2 diabetes can affect on the human body, and his mission is to share what he has learned with you.
